Chemical Peel Pre & Post Care

Contraindications

• Accutane in the past 6 months
• Cancer Treatments including Chemotherapy & Radiation
• Cancer/Skin Cancer History within the past 2 years
• Open Sores & Wounds
• Sunburn or Blisters
• Excessive Sun Exposure or Those Unwilling to Wear SPF
• Active Cold Sores
• Some Autoimmune Diseases
• Recent Facial Surgical Procedures

Pre-Care

• Retin-A - please discontinue use for 7 days prior to treatment
• Non-Prescription Retinol & AHA/BHAs - discontinue use 3-5 days prior to the treatment
• No Cosmetic Injections (including Botox & Fillers) within the last 14 days

Post-Care

• Avoid active ingredients for 3-5 days post-facial
• Keep the skin hydrated with hydrating serums, moisturizers, and occlusives
• Ensure to wear an SPF 30 or higher and reapply every 2 hours
• Avoid exercise or sweating for a minimum of 24-72 hours
• Avoid applying makeup for 24-72 hours and wash makeup brushes before next use
• Change your pillowcase
• Always wash hands before completing routine
• Avoid touching the skin
